WPA - Works Progress Administration paintings
The second floor hall of the museum is lined with WPA paintings done by well known Utah artists. There are sixteen paintings purchased by Helper City during the "Great Depression" to support the artists and also create an art gallery in Helper. The collection was shown in the auditorium for many years and was moved to the museum in 1986.
