These steps are from the Pleasant Valley Coal Company office in Castle Gate, where Butch Cassidy robbed the coal miners' payroll of $7,000.00 in gold on April 22, 1897. |
| This Jail Cell was removed from the main floor of the Helper City Hall in 1990. It had been in use for many years to lock up people who broke the law. |

Bootlegging - Bootlegging is making and selling alcoholic beverages that had been outlawed. It was an early business in Carbon County during the years of prohibition (1920 - 1933).These stills were used to make whiskey and the grape crushers were used to make wine. |
