Photo Collections
The museum has well over 3500 photographs in their collection. These photographs are available to the public to purchase copies. The collection consists of photographs of every town and mining camp in Carbon county: Helper, Price, Wellington, Sunnyside, Hiawatha, Wattis, Consumers, Sweet, National, Castle Gate, Royal, Peerless, Spring Canyon, Standardville, Latuda, Rains, Mutual, Kenilworth, Clear Creek, Winter Quarters, Scofield, Soldier Summit, Colton. Included are pictures of mining, miners, trains, work on the railroad and lifestyles of the people, from weddings to funerals. The photographs date 1880-1950.
